Support, Treatment, and Resilience (STAR) Program

The STAR Program provides outpatient care to teens and young adults ages who are at risk for developing psychosis. With a focus on resilience, the STAR Program aims to intervene early to promote mental well-being and improve functioning at home, school, work, and social life.

 
 

Eligibility

Age: 14-25

Diagnosis: Risk for developing psychosis

Primary Care: STAR does not require clients to have a primary care physician (PCP) at McLean to begin treatment.

 

Services

  • Individual therapy

  • Psychiatric assessment

  • Psychopharmacology and medication management

  • Family support

  • Psychoeducation

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Case management

  • Coordination with schools and other health care providers, as needed
